Gray skies are gonna clear up, so put on a happy face! Really, I mean it. Go ahead and smile because those lingering, relentless storm clouds have finally parted and it’s time for you to take a well deserved break. Look Ben Franklin, we know that normally lightening doesn’t strike twice, but, in your case, in the last few months, it seems like you were getting charged up about something or other about fifty times a day. So much so that I won’t be surprised to hear you say how totally burnt out you are. But, just remember that even after we told ole Ben to go fly a kite, he still held on to the key to his success. Just as you have done. And you will find that to be very, very true during this comforting and comfortable month. With Mars entering Taurus during the final days of May, you must have started to notice a slow down. Less pull on your energies, less efforts to achieve accomplishments. This trend continues until mid-July. And even though aggressive Mars is normally totally, almost magnetically attracted to all the action, this time around he gives you a chance to regroup, refresh and re-engage with your innate sense of enthusiasm AND with longer term intentions. Don’t forget your near term goals either. The energies surrounding you in June certainly haven’t. You hold all the cards and that aforementioned proverbial key. Use it wisely. With Venus sharing the love on June 6 and an adventurous Full Moon rising on June 7, the early days of this month might not be as fast –paced as you are used to but they promise to be every bit as delightful as you could possibly dream. With a triple conjunction of generous Jupiter, healthy, healing Chiron and airy fairy Neptune all meeting to support, sustain and nurture you, you may seriously begin to see the literal start to some long range plans. In fact, this trio complementing a constructive New Moon on that same day should allow you three times the chances to make one big dream come true. No more pushing. No more prodding. Persistance takes this cake. Just remember to take small bites and very soon you’ll be able to enjoy a bigger slice of life than you might have even imagined just three short weeks ago. Yummy.

Sit back, relax and start to think out of your sometimes way too energetic box. The planets are predicating a slow down for you this month but that doesn’t mean that your dreams need to come to a grinding halt. Rather, you’ll have to begin to look at life in a more comfortable way, which, for aggressive Aries just might be a little un-comfortable. Not to say there still won’t be some conflicts and power plays at the office but the opportunities to socialize and tweet will far outweigh that same old, same old. Soon enough you will be able to seriously spread your wings and fly. But those days come in August and September. This month it’s time to just go fly a kite. Take a break from the routine and you simply won’t believe the friends with all sorts of benefits you find around almost every corner. Locate the ‘Travel’ area of your main floor and put some small soothing, calming image of a faraway locale there. While you are posting and positioning this card envision yourself writing ones to your friends and loved ones telling them what a great time you are having. Edwin Teale once wrote that “all things seem possible in May” and that springtime sentiment has never held more truth than it will for you during a chunk of this merry little month. With Mars, your feisty ruler, positively impacting your get up and go, you’re sure to see a big boost in your physical energy levels. Where earlier in the year your energies were exhausted and your exuberance could certainly be categorized as get up and gone, now you find a new sense of stamina supporting all your activities, intentions and goals! And, you’ll more than likely find that you need all this excess energy when lovey dovey Venus sidles up to your own sign of Aries for the better part of the month, pushing your personal pleasure principle to full on tilt! Ah, but alas, it’s not all elevated heart rates and roses this month, especially on the 2nd when Venus pushes past Pluto in her efforts to get you attention. In this particular case, Pluto pushes back, potentially putting you in a place where emotions rule the day while calmer heads definitely do not prevail. Usually, when we see this sort of dynamic, there is another sort of dynamo involved as well; traditionally someone who doesn’t necessarily have your best interests at heart or in mind. I’m not suggesting that you lash back, but simply understand that there are larger astro energies at work, and, well, the less said now, the big, BIG better! And, speaking of communicating less, Mercury the Messenger goes retrograde on May 7 adding insult to potential injury as it stalls in your 3rd House of ALL Things Communication. For the bulk of the middle of this month, it will greatly behoove you to watch what you say, who you say it to and the tone that you say it in. That last sentiment applies to texts and emails as well. This month your words can either be your wand (as in magic) or your sword (as in ‘ouch’) and that choice will be entirely up to you. Mix ups and mayhem could claim the middle of May if you’re not careful, so, PLEASE, pay attention or you might just be forced to make an unexpected (and now unnecessary) withdrawal in order to pay the piper. Especially if you hit ‘Send’ prematurely. I’m quite sure you know exactly what I mean. The Full Moon that rises on May 9th will underscore this communication lunacy even more, but, remember not to howl at it either since even that scream could be entirely misinterpreted too. Rather, why not keep a low pro during those days and look forward to the Gemini New Moon of the 24th that unlocks much more perfect and positive energies that promise to pervade energies surrounding month’s end? In fact, the final few days of May will more than make up for the mid term madness as you now will feel awakened and alive, like anything and everything is possible. Pay attention to the dreams you have while you are sleeping and be sure to come up with some intriguing new ones when you are awake! Anytime during the middle part of this month would be the perfect time to cleanse and clear your home which will then translate into keeping every area of your life free from potentially harmful emotional or psychic debris. Using mirrors, a sometime symbol of water in Feng Shui to strengthen your space will not only put you back in an immediate flow but will also allow and invite opportunities to reflect on what your next steps need to be while you travel the path to personal power and fulfillment. Try to find a small circular mirror about three inches in diameter. Beginning at your front entryway, move around the rooms in your house in a clockwise manner, holding the mirror to reflect the walls and the corners of each of the rooms located on the main floor. You may also use this same technique in other rooms are separate floors. Try to concentrate on dark or seldom used spaces as well as in the bathrooms and the kitchen. After you have walked the whole of the main floor and this mirror has absorbed all the stale and stuck energies, soak it in a salt and water solution so that any bad energies collected can now go directly down the drain. Once done, wrap this mirror in any sort of special cloth or keep it in a container and place is somewhere in a cupboard or cabinet. You can use this cure any time you feel like you need to clear up communications, cleanse negative vibes from your space or when you need to get clarity on any confusing issues. Now you’re not only the fairest but certainly the smartest of them all too!

We’ve all heard the old axiom that says that there’s “no sense in reinventing the wheel” but this month, as you run round and round and round in some very familiar, albeit sometimes difficult emotional territory, you just might want to finally spend some time learning how to get off of it before actually learning how to reinvent yourself. Look, there’s a big difference between taking initiative and acting impulsively. Any efforts put towards the former could potentially spell new money before the month is through as well as provide a new friend or two who will be loyal and trustworthy until the end of time. Acting impulsively, however, will do nothing else but turn you in circles, making you dizzy with disappointment and delusion. All of this spinning is started by Venus, the planet strongly associated with raw emotions, creating some conflict with Pluto on April 2 and then remaining in a backward retrograde motion until the 17th. During those same days and weeks you may just find that a friendship or two is incredibly strained with an increased chance of miscommunications and misunderstandings that in the end will serve to teach you a life lesson that could sting a little. You, Aries, are the strong, staunch warrior, always standing straight and tall and usually able to add compromise and cooperation to the characteristics that make you one of the most solid signs in the Zodiac. This month definitely comes roaring in like a lion but, thankfully, goes out like a little lamb (and I’m not just talking about the weather either.)
