Okay, how many times do I have to tell the perfectionist in you to sit back and count your accomplishments while building up to that next set of incoming blessings? I know, I know, it’s so easy to see the glass as needing someone to wash it, dry it and then fill it to half empty when all along, if you just let it be, you’d have seen that it was perfectly fine sitting beside you half-full. You are ambitious and an over-achiever and are also under the mistaken impression that you still have so very much more to do in order to embrace and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Nothing could be further. Unless you make it so. Your choice. You choose. The energies of this month could either represent a somewhat challenging and demanding period that serves to remind how very much more still needs to be done, OR, they can support you while you join in the collective and give thanks for everything and all you’ve accomplished so far. You need to look beyond only what you can see in the immediate and trust that you are waaaay more than half the way up that ladder of success as well. You should be enjoying the view. Especially if you want to see more. Push beyond your limiting thoughts and behaviors. Trust me when I tell you that there is nothing half-way about you at all and that everything is still moving full speed ahead. It’s just that your torpedoes won’t be exploding with the expansion you desire until well into 2010 and, let’s be honest here, you simply don’t want to wait that long. Do not, do you hear me, DO NOT allow discouragement to creep in and test your transformation. Rather, hold the vision and the positive attitude that supports same. Keep on trucking baby, you’re in it for the long haul. Big wheels keep on turning, that much I can promise, whether you hear an annoying squeak there or not. The practical path to success just doesn’t have to be so complicated. Simplicity should be your new middle name. But, first, we need to get through November. Watch your words the first few days when a cranky Mercury tries to start something up with aggressive Mars. Alright, I could probably say that one word and the concept behind it is going to do more to influence and impact your life for the next year to come than any other words could ever begin to cover; and that word is TRUST (and trust and trust and trust and trust and…) In fact, I have a feeling that I could keep repeating that word to you (as well as telling you to embrace the entire concept behind it) until I am blue in the face. But something tells me that you’re getting a little antsy to see some forward movement and progress in your personal and professional quests and goals, so, let’s give those energies a slight shove so that they now can show you how very far you’ve actually come. Long considered one of the four celestial creatures of Feng Shui mythology, the Black Tortoise promises both personal and professional movement and support, longevity and protection. And they bring darn good fortune too. Put an image of, or better yet a small statue, of a tortoise, turtle or terrapin in the ‘Career’ area of your home and then watch as your slow and your steady waaaay wins your race!

Your super stellar astro energies this month fit you like a glove and that’s a good thing since it appears that everyone around you will be applauding your every eager, ambitious and successful action. You might just be tempted to give yourself a big hand too once you embrace the illumination that the sun plans on shining directly on your career. In fact, planets are pooling in your 10th House of Fame and Honors for a good deal of October and this not only promises to predicate some form of reward and recognition from your peers but also pledges to increase your visibility in the community at large as well. The one fly in this ointment is a sticky situation that you have become all too familiar with the last few years; balancing both life and style at home with movement and just desserts on the job front. That very dichotomy will fill the days and nights surrounding an intense and combustible Aries Full Moon that rises on the 4th. Expected the unexpected as the raucous energies of this orb can bring a bit of the irregular to your Sunday routine. Speaking of precious metals, you have a couple of golden days mid-month when Mars and his sexy, sizzling consort, Venus make hay on October 13. This day and the ones that immediately follow allow you to freely express your creativity and genius while putting a plan or project perfectly into place. You’ll have to be practical and patient however. But, that said, it doesn’t look like you’ll have to wait very long to start collecting and receiving right rewards. Again, the fine line you’ll have to walk now has to do with keeping everyone at home happy while making yourself feel upbeat and the same way simply by engaging and using your natural and oh so divine gifts and talents. You have the best chance of negotiating and navigating those same waters when Mercury stays put in fair-minded Libra from the 20th through the 24th. Make the most of these complimentary and communicative energies as this planetary alignment always allows for everyone around to see both sides of the story. In fact, with Mercury the Messenger trining gracious and generous Jupiter on the 20th, there may be no better day this month to assess and address homefront/workplace dilemmas than now. Solutions are swirling like late Autumn leaves in a windstorm. Wait until they hit the ground before getting caught up in any whirlwind of dissolution . These days are drenched in practically perfect aspects otherwise and ask you to just talk out any issues or concerns you could have. The answers all lie in clear communications. The one thing that will help you achieve and accomplish all of this largesse is your keen ability to communicate passionately, intensely and with total understanding of all sides all during October. Speak your truth and be flexible and willing to negotiate. And all should be well. So, look for the love but look for it in all the places that you want to actually find it. What are you passionate about? Or WHOM? All of these areas could present some conflicts or at least a bit of consternation for you in September while that stinky Saturn/Uranus opposition continues its reign of crappy impact and influence. Commitments and cautions represent a lot of the vitamin C you will be imbibing this month but not without improving the health of almost all of your most important relationships. You will, however, be well advised to keep an eye and a cap on your emotions when Venus forms a tense semi-square to Saturn on the 2nd. With what can only be termed an emotional Full Moon rising just a few days later on the 4th, you might feel like you are drowning in a reality that doesn’t ever seem to allow enough room for you to activate your dreams. Just honor your commitments and trust that soon enough (and I mean in about a week) you will finally spell relief as the pressure eases and your spirits soar. This exuberance will be courtesy a delight-filled Venus opposition to an always extremely generous Jupiter on the 11th with some swell astro influences that last for a few of the following days. Let go. Contrary to what we all believe about capable you, you simply cannot control everything all the time. Unfortunately Mapquest can’t help. But you patience, intuition and efforts to embrace life lessons offered in September will. Place a statue or figurine or other sort of image of a black tortoise in your ‘Knowledge’ area of your main floor or bedroom anytime during the middle of this month. This symbol slows down itchy Chi. Feng Shui says to use this remedy when you are finding it hard to stay in one place. Stick out your neck and do this. Leave the tortoise in place for a full 27 days.
