There’s a wonderful song from the great film/Broadway play WEST SIDE STORY that starts out with a lyric that goes like this: “Could be…Who knows…There’s something due, any day…I will know, right away…Soon as it shows.” Well, these lovely lyrics couldn’t help me to describe what you can ‘expect’ this month any better if I tried. See, there’s a sense of expectation in the air and changes abound. The best and highest result of these significant shifts will be your total transformation into something so much closer to your ideal than you ever dreamed. You’ll now realize the opportunities that you are being given to go ahead and start to really soar are a bit more difficult than you might like but well worth the angst and effort. All of that said though, first you’ll have to embrace what’s coming down the pike regardless how resistant and possibly even fearful that you might feel. Digging your heels in and holding onto the status quo this month won’t get you anything but cracks and blisters. Oh, and a whole lot less growth. Of the good kind. However, if you submit and surrender and then go with the flow you’ll be sure to float into your own personal event horizon with ease and grace. Don’t count on a lot of support from siblings either, especially early in the month. With Mercury squaring off against Mars in your 3rd House of Oh Brother (and sisters too!) on the very first day of November, the potential for some strain in those relationships will be strong. A sense of inner serenity and calm does prevail on the next day when the Full Moon rising in your 12th House of Spirit and the Subconscious on the second gives you some much needed grounding during the following few dreamy days. And speaking of spirit, those three healers, Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune electrify your 6th House of Self Improvement beginning on November 8, asking you to take a big leap of faith and believe that you hopes for a happier, healthier and far more abundant life are unfolding. The days surrounding the charge emitted by this planetary one-two-three punch are brilliant. And so are you. Use this time wisely because you will remember it for a long while to come. There is static on the lines from the 19th to the 26th especially where emotionally enveloped relationships are concerned. Honestly, although I totally get it that advice instructing you to work harder is probably the last thing you’d like to hear at this point in time, I simply cannot impress hard enough the HUGE, GIGANTIC boons and blessings that harder work will result in for you. Health. Wealth. Success. The pathway to these possibilities is in your sights this month. Or not. It’s entirely up to you. But I just have to say this; if you choose to put nose to the grindstone and stay sharp and motivated then the victory that you will achieve by month’s end can conceivably make a distinct and significant difference in the direction of your whole life. Sound dramatic? It is. November brings you the possibility of beginning a longer-term process of establishing healthier choices and patterns in almost every area of your everyday life. These possibilities promise to support and sustain you for years and years to come. I swear, positive and personal success is promised by the planets as long as limitations are not respected nor restrictive. Push through. Push hard. Be brutal in eliminating anyone and anything that takes your focus off your goals; your eyes off the proverbial prize. That list includes naysayers, saboteurs and even shots of Jaggermeister drunk late at night because it seemed like a good idea at the time. Get rid of destructive people AND same sorts of behaviors and you won’t believe what’s waiting to take their place. Life grows a bit more confusing on the 6th when a series of touchy aspects happens high in the sky spilling some stress and some tension all over your existence. And, then, lift both your spirits and your prospects by putting a very powerful Feng Shui cure to work for you! Put fresh flowers in the entryway of your space and then put a bouquet in your living room and one in your bedroom as well. While you are positioning these pansies into place, actually see yourself blooming and growing beyond current boundaries and limitations too. Staying true to yourself is a major theme for you this month Libra, but with an eye towards restructuring who you are at the moment. With strict taskmaster Saturn sitting squarely in your 1st House of Identity, knowing who or what ‘yourself’ looks to be a little challenging. In fact, you are in process of undergoing a life altering transformation that will ultimately be both rewarding and revealing and that promises that all your hard work is getting ready to pay off. The boost to your personal bottom line begins as early as November 2 when the Taurus Full Moon will fall squarely in your 8th House of Other People’s money. This moon is full of feisty too so be sure to come prepared to do a bit of battle with your own sense of logic and reason. This become most incumbent when the energies all ask you to step outside your current comfort zone in order to do something completely new. Embracing and then employing your usual easy-going and charming manner will do much to make you even more likeable than normal while also making potential adversaries quick allies to any new causes you choose to champion. Your ruling planet, the loving and lovely Venus enters sexual and seductive Scorpio on the 7th, triggering a new three week period that accents and highlights issues involved with intimacy. Yes, you’ll have to return to the drawing board but it appears that there will be a lot of artists hovering around who are willing to help you color outside the lines. Whatever you do this month (and mark my words here) DO NOT SPEND ONE SINGLE SECOND FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF. This sort of pity party will not only be counterproductive AND intuitive to everything you’ve yet to accomplish but it will call in more of the same sort of defeats and disappointments. Rather, just make new plans and then do everything in your vast reservoirs of power to put them into place. While you are doing that, be absolutely and positively sure to put a round, crystal ball on the upper right-hand corner of your desk. While you work to manifest a dearly held and much desired dream, that Feng Shui cure will be doing everything in the Universe to crystallize your goals and intentions as well. These planets also promise and predicate a trigger for a true desire to actually set off and see some new scenery. As if all this weren’t enough, the prevailing energies of November additionally accent all of your communications and conversations while also advising active efforts at maintaining an adjustable and adaptable attitude. Whew, said a mouthful there didn’t I? Let’s begin at the beginning when a lovely Venus-Neptune trine brings an almost magical air of romance to your day on the 2nd. The connections are electric as are some seriously (unexpected?) enjoyable encounters. Do all you can to be sure and put your best foot forward. Just be sure it has a fresh pedi when you do! Look, I know how sensitive you really are and even though you put on that tough front and act
like you could care less what anyone else says or thinks about you, deep down I think we all know differently. I know you really do care. Probably waaaaay too much! Develop a thicker coat from the 8th through the 10th and don’t be provoked into any provocations no matter how much you want others around to like you. Really really really like you. Keep your focus on what’s truly important and just let everything extraneous go. Don’t over commit or make promises you can’t possibly keep as mid-month approaches. And, for goodness sake, let everyone else fend for themselves for once. You’re already spread too thin. Period. As the Sun enters beneficent Sagittarius on the 22nd, you will feel like the fog is clearing and you can most surely and safely take to the friendly skies. Pack your bags Pisces and pick up a new passport too since it looks like you’ll be doing some transformational traveling this month. But it does appear as if there could also be some persnickety detours and problematic delays as well. In order to make the most of your authentic energetic connection to a Universe who that only wants smooth sailing for you, you may want to try the following before embarking on any trips or travel: Take a warm bath immediately before heading out the door being sure to pay special attention to cleansing both the hands and the feet. In fact, Feng Shui considers washing the feet very important sine they symbolize embarking on a journey while the act of consciously washing them clears away any potential bad energy or Chi. Step lively now while remembering the Feng Shui axiom that “wherever you go you should bring good luck with you.” This bath guarantees that very result. Bath Voyage!

Listen, Joseph Conrad already plunged head first into the heart of darkness making it completely unnecessary for you to duplicate those efforts. This fact holds true regardless how much you will feel pulled towards embracing that same exploratory attitude this month. It’s always okay to spend time in some conscious self- reflection and interior re-designing but it’s never alright to throw yourself into a period of doubt and despair while doing it. In fact, that sort of behavior defeats the whole purpose of taking a journey that can ultimately not only lead you right to the end of the rainbow but can also plunk you squarely on the proverbial yellow brick road. If you want to get to the Emerald City in time for the holidays then you must be content to simply place one proactive foot in front of the other all along the way. Patience is a virtue as is persistence and, well, when you couple those qualities with the pursuit of excellence and the one of happiness too, you pretty much have the broad overview of what the energies this month have to offer you. Be careful not to engage in petty and silly arguments as early as the first day when aggressive Mars and talkative Mercury go toe to toe. Dance around the issues and you’ll avoid any and all conflict. The early days all seem to have a sort of edginess about them making you eager to move on and move out to in efforts to go and explore the unknown. Meditation, magic and mystical flights of fancy will all influence your energies this month as will the desire to uncover and unveil anything stale, stuck or stalled. It’s truly time to uncover all that is preventing you from moving forward on your personal journey. One sure-fire way to spend quality time unearthing and then washing away the old in order to make way for the fabulously new is to take a special effects bath that promises to whoosh unwelcome energies right drown the drain. Add a quarter cup of bicarbonate of soda and half cup of sea salt to a full bath and soak. As you soak, be sure to submerge yourself three times fully (head and all!) under the water while visualizing that all negativity and bad juju is dislodging from you both inside and out. Consciously imagine all bad energies being washed away. Then, with the water still in the tub, go and shower and rinse off. Once you have completed the rinse, go back to the bath and pull the plug on anything and everything that was holding you back. A nice, clean, fresh start. Ahhhhh, that’s more like it.
